What is WAFID / GAMCA?

WAFID (previously known as GAMCA) is the official medical screening system for expatriates traveling to the GCC countries:

For Oman, you cannot travel without a WAFID Fit Report.


Step 1: Book Your WAFID Appointment (Oman)

You must book your medical test online through the official WAFID portal:

Steps to Book

  1. Go to Wafid.com

  8. Download your WAFID Slip

Step 2: Visit the Assigned Medical Center

On the appointment day, carry:

Do Not Visit Another Clinic

You MUST visit the same center assigned by WAFID.
WAFID does NOT allow changing centers.


Step 3: Medical Tests Done for Oman WAFID

The Oman WAFID medical includes:

1. Physical Examination

🚫 Important: WAFID UNFIT Rules (Oman)

If you are UNFIT, you cannot redo the test immediately.

UNFIT Repeat Test Waiting Period

  • Approximately 3–6 months depending on the condition
